Free of charge transport
Grant to free of charge transport is based on the positive Laws and regulations of Republic of Croatia and is available to the following: pupils and students living on Islands (showing their picture ticket) during schoolyear or academic year (from September the 1st to June the 30th or July the 15th for students), retired people and persons older than 65 years living on Islands (with picture ticket), civilian and military disabled people, health officials accompanying ill people, children up to 5 years old and members of Croatian parliament.
Cargo
On State High-speed lines it is forbidden to transport any cargo.
Luggage
Free of charge up to 20 kg.
Pets
Pets are only accepted if they don't pose a threat or disturbance to other passengers or the ship. They are not allowed in closed passenger areas and have to be carried in apropriate boxes or cages. Dogs have to wear muzzles (except for the blind people guide dogs), cats have to be in boxes, birds in cages. For both cats and dogs, owners have to show innoculation papers and other certificates of their health. Owner takes sole responsibility of pets feeding. Owner takes risk and responsibility for possible damage caused by their animals. Shipping company bears no responsibility for any injuries to the animals during the trip.
Time table
Shipping company G&V Line has a right to change time table without prior notice and has right to cancel or change any trip due to higher force or technical dificulties, and takes no responsibility for the consequences of any delays or cancellations for any ground possible.
Embarkment
Embarkment starts 30 minutes before ship leaves from starting port or right after disembarkment in the ports on the way.
Cancelations and reimbursments
If the passenger does not embark the ship before departure, he shall not be reimbursed for unused ticket.
Loss of ticket
Passenger is obliged to report the ticket being lost and buy a new one.
Fines and surpluses
According to article 605 of Croatian sea law, passenger pays fine or addition, in the following cases:
1. If passenger fails to buy ticket prior to embarkation and reports it on the ship, passenger pays ticket price and addition of 5 kuna.
2. When passenger is found without valid ticket and one cannot establish with certainty in which port passenger embarked, he or she shall be double price of fare from the starting port.
Passenger insurance
By buying a ticket passenger is insured from maritime risks.
Responsibility
Shipping company has limited responsibility in case of death or corporal injuries of passengers, and the damages shall be paid in the amounts regulated by Croatian maritime laws.
